Three-Quarter Living - Lv. II Recovery Housing
Residents who have successfully completed B. Riley House’s drug and alcohol treatment program will have the opportunity to live and participate in our three-quarter residential living house. This level of care is less intensive. Three-quarter residents typically hold full or part-time jobs and are expected to pay rent. At this level, residents must attend a minimum of three (3) 12-step self-help group meetings weekly, participate in the Thursday evening community meeting at the home, and cooperate with random urine screens. This house can accommodate up to 10 adults, is not gender-specific, and is open to allies of the LGBTQ+ community who have successfully completed a high-intensity residential treatment program. Shared bedrooms house two residents each, with the primary purpose being increased accountability and peer support. Residents are responsible for their own food and toiletries (often donated to the house as a whole for those just getting started).
Independent Living - Lv. I Recovery Housing
At this home, residents have successfully completed treatment, maintained employment, and provided evidence of timely rent payments based on receipts from the three-quarter living house. Participants at this level of care have a minimum of six (6) months of sobriety, actively participate in a 12-step self-help group (evidenced by having a 12-step sponsor and completing all 12 steps), and are in the maintenance stage of change. Residents have their own rooms in a three (3)-bedroom home, and the sole requirement is cooperation with random urine screens and timely rent payment. Residents are responsible for their own food and toiletries. Eligibility for this house requires participation in our three-quarter housing for a minimum of three (3) months.
